It is extremely important to keep up on your new puppy's shots. Most vets will recommend they get their first shots and wormed at age 6 weeks, the second round should be given at 9 weeks, and the 3rd round should be given at 12 weeks. If you should neglect to give your puppy any of these shots, it will make them susceptible to Parvo and other diseases. This happened to a puppy I sold a few years ago. At the time of purchase, the next round of shots was due within a few days. She waited over 2 weeks before taking the puppy to the vet. In the meantime, it came down with Parvo. On last report, the puppy did survive with lots of expensive vet care. So, please don't neglect getting the full round of shots. Just to leave off that last round can make them susceptible to Parvo. One more word of warning: Do not let your puppies eat grapes, raisons, or chocolate. To do so, can cause death.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
